A very sad day!

Yesterday was a very sad day for our family. Our beloved, sweet and fun dog Burton is no longer with us. We will miss him soo much.

Back in hot hot hot Alabama

The kids and I got back from Germany last Wednesday. The weather over there was good, but not great. Apparently somebody ordered a heat wave for our return. Thank you, but for future knowledge, that's not necessary. It's been great to play in the water, but otherwise it's just a little too hot to be outside. After a looooong winter we'll have a loooong summer of 90-100 degree weather if this continuous.

We're all loving the new house. There is still a lot more work to do, but it's starting to feel like home. The most challenging part is the decorating...that'll take some time. I'll post some house pics as soon as I take them.
